Crystal’s new VidTime technology, used in conjunction with Crystal Connect and Crystal Metadata Cloud, is deployed to reinsert SCTE 35 markers into Live Linear TV channels in situations where they have been removed by the operator or are not made available by the channel provider so that AdGorilla’s Quantum™ equipment can be used to insert different content, promos, or ads.
Those SCTE 35 markers are used to identify replaceable ad breaks, as allowed by the channel provider. Operators of private viewing venues, such as cruise ships, fitness clubs and sports bars, can now use AdGorilla’s Fuel™ sales and support services to increase their revenue by delivering relevant promotions and ads to their customers.

DENVER Colorado – AdGorilla, LLC announced today that they are adding one of the industry’s premiere technical talents to their team to head up their product development efforts. Jason Canney joins AdGorilla as Chief Technology Officer and will oversee the design and execution of new products under the AdGorilla GEAR division, as well as updates and maintenance for their SSP Quantum™ line of advertising insertion software and equipment.
Jason comes to AdGorilla from Canoe Ventures where he was Vice President of Architecture and Engineering, responsible as the Chief Architect in defining all System, Software and Data Architecture for the company. Mr. Canney directed the development of ideas from concept through the agile development process and into production. He also managed the R&D program for the company which defined and submitted over thirty-five patent applications, (15 of his own) in the field of Advanced Advertising.
Mr. Canney has over 25 years of experience defining technology and leading software development organizations. His passion is defining technological solutions to define and shape industries, and he has a broad knowledge base in the video delivery and advertising technology spaces. He will leverage this experience to keep AdGorilla at the forefront of video and advertising technology.
